It is the sequel to Paul Blart: Mall Cop released in 2009 and was written by Kevin James and Nick Bakay. The film stars James as the eponymous mall cop Paul Blart, along with Neal McDonough, Daniella Alonso, David Henrie, Raini Rodriguez, and Vic Dibitetto.
