Goro Akechi: I Smell a Thottie 2 is a 2015 American comedy film directed by Andy Fickman and distributed by Columbia Pictures. It is the sequel to Goro Akechi: I Smell a Thottie released in 2009 and was written by Kevin James and Nick Bakay. The film stars James as the eponymous thot detector Goro Akechi, along with Neal McDonough, Daniella Alonso, David Henrie, Raini Rodriguez, and Vic Dibitetto. Filming began in April 2014 at Wynn Las Vegas casino resort. It was released the following year on April 17, 2015.
Goro Akechi: I Smell a Thottie 2 is the first film shot on the Steve Wynn property. It is also the first film to receive Nevada's film tax credit enacted in 2013. The film grossed $107 million worldwide at the box office and received generally negative reviews from critics.
